| CAREER NETWORK
The Latin School network is a powerful resource. BLSA
is pleased to offer a number of programs designed to enhance career options and planning for alumni and current
students. For more information or to volunteer for any of
these programs, please contact Alumni Relations Director Linda Glennon at blsa@blsa.org.
Services for Students & Young Alumni
Alumni on Campus
Through the BLS College Resource Center, volunteers in specific
career fields make themselves available for one-on-one conversations in person and by e-mail
and participate in panel discussions with students. More
volunteers are needed in all fields.
Community
Connections
Students and parents interested in exploring life outside
of Boston will be able to contact alumni throughout the
country for insight and advice, particularly if they are
planning a college visit in another state. This resource
is available via the BLS College Resource Center and by contacting the alumni relations office at 617.450.0004. This service can be helpful for alumni relocating to another part of the country, as well.
Welcome
Young Alumni Receptions
Regional chapters boasting a large recent graduate population often host receptions to welcome our newest alumni in an effort to help them explore the resources available to alumni and to help their new neighbors get acclimated to life outside Boston. Visit individual chapter pages for more information.
Job Networking Events
Both the Greater Boston Chapter and the Young Alumni Council offer a variety of events and activities designed to help young alumni and students network to explore summer employment opportunities, to learn more about careers in a variety of fields, and to help our youngest alumni hone their networking skills. Watch the Greater Boston Chapter and Young Alumni Council pages for more information on upcoming events.
