POINTS OF PRIDE CONTEST
We have good news...bad news...and some more good news with regard to April's contest. Good News: We did receive the correct response to the April question. Bad News: The submission came from an alumnus who has already won this academic year. More Good News: If you get your answer in right away you still have a chance to win a coveted BLS T-shirt and get your name up on the Points of Pride Hall of Fame! So here is the April question again: Where did the first Latin-English football game take place and why were the Latin players wearing red on that day and the English players in their traditional blue?
Visit the Points of Pride Contest webpage to see all of our proud winners, the other two unsolved Points of Pride mysteries and one new hint for the Extracurricular Fair question (how carefully did you read the 2007 Fall Bulletin?).
May's question:
A two-part question: When were the school and the Association founded (using Roman Numerals please)?
BLS history buffs seeking a free T-shirt should send responses — including name and class year — magna cum celeritate via e-mail. Note: Alumni may win only once during an academic year.
