The mission of the Boston Latin School Association (BLSA) is “to preserve and support the mission and excellence of the Boston Latin School; to build and maintain relationships among its alumni and friends; to raise funds for both school and Association activities; and to serve as an effective model of a successful public school-private association partnership.”

Ways to Volunteer There are countless ways to give back to BLS. Programs that always need committed volunteers include: the BLS Parents Group, Saturday Success School, Tutoring and Mentoring Programs, as well as Regional Chapters and Reunion Committees, to name a few.

Events The Association sponsors an array of events throughout the year. These range from casual get-togethers to more formal occasions. Whether it is Reunion Weekend, a Regional Chapter gathering or the Pre-Thanksgiving Annual Dinner, there are many places to reconnect with familiar faces or make new friends along the way. BLS in the News The News Section highlights members of the BLS family who have been mentioned in the media for their accomplishments as well as those who have been acknowledged in other ways for their contributions to regional, national and international communities. Publications BLSA distributes the award winning Spring and Fall Bulletins to our more than 17,000 alumni and friends with exciting alumni profiles, news from the school and the ever popular class notes section so that everyone can feel a present day connection to the special place we call Alma Mater. We also share a monthly eNewsletter that goes out to all alumni who have provided their e-mail address to us.

Online Community This is a dynamic tool that promotes information sharing among our BLS family. Sections include: chapter pages, photo gallery, events calendar and registration, class notes and an online directory of fellow alumni that is only viewable by our alumni base.
